Møt John. 
John er en personlig fortelling om kriminalitet, dop, overgrep og søken etter kjærlighet. Koreografen Lloyd Newson lar publikum kikke inn i en, for mange, ukjent og brutal verden som sjeldent fremstilles på scenen.

La deg bli berørt og overrasket av en radikal og poetisk forestilling om hvordan en broket fortid setter spor, men også om viljen til å gi slipp på det som har vært. I likhet med tidligere forestillinger danner intervjuer med over 50 menn grunnlaget for forestillingen, og det avdekkes åpne og ærlige spørsmål om menns kjærlighetsliv, sex og personlige kamper.



DV8 turnerer verden rundt med sine rå, ærlige og ofte kontroversielle forestillinger, og vi er stolte av å ønske kompaniet velkommen tilbake. 
Forestillingen er samprodusert med Dansens Hus, og det norske publikum er blant det første i verden til å få oppleve forestillingen.



Forestillingen har et voksent tema, nakenhet og et direkte språk som kan virke støtende.

Vi fortsetter vårt nære samarbeid med KULT, og inviterer til nytt Tehus. Tema: Grenseløs kjærlighet. Fra iran kommer sangeren Masha Vahdat og Pasha Hanjani som spiller ney-fløyte. Skuespiller Andrea Bræin Hovig står for tekstresitasjon, og Erik Hillestad leder som vanlig samtalen. Tre dikt av den persiske poeten Rumi danner utgangspunktet for tehuset.
