- HYPER CORAL is one of the most beautifully decorated productions we have seen for this age group, and the adults will certainly also have enjoyed their trip beneath the surface

MYKA was established in 2013 by My Grönholdt and Katya R. D. Nielsen, both graduates in dance and choreography from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. The company is currently directed by My Grönholdt. MYKA creates unique, sensory experiences for families, in which both children and adults can find meditative calm, closeness and magic. MYKA uses productions inspired by nature, animals and natural phenomena to explore topical and touching themes in a way that makes them accessible and fascinating to any age group.Genuine interaction with the audience is at the heart of MYKA’s work. Artistic quality and sensory stimulation are key. There are no hierarchies in the creative process, which means that there is an equal focus on every element. MYKA’s productions can be experienced on stages (theatres, cultural centres) and in art spaces (museums, galleries), often as 360-degree installations. The company’s methods are based on research into children’s perception, and involve experts in creative processes that focus on co-creation and shared intellectual and creative processes. The result is high-quality productions that generate wonder and closeness – for children and adults.MYKA has previously performed UNTZ BABY UNTZ three times at Dansens Hus (2022, 2024 and 2025), which was a huge hit with children and adults. Hyper Coral is their latest production, which premièred at Betty Nansen theatre in Copenhagen on 24 May 2025.&nbsp;
