Hyper Coral is an interactive dance production for babies aged from 0–2 years (3–24 months) and the adults with them. The production is inspired by the intricate and colourful world of coral reefs. These ecosystems, which are both complex and beautiful, demonstrate the symbiotic relationship between corals and microscopic algae – each depending on the other for survival. As a consequence of environmental changes, corals have become a symbol of vulnerability and sensitivity.

Hyper Coral explores these themes, aiming to create reflection on how humans can create deeper ties between each other, nature and all living beings. The production also encourages us to have a more proactive approach to looking after all that is vulnerable in our lives and in nature.
