Events and venue hire
Dansens Hus can be hired for large or small events.
We are in a fantastic location, as close to the Akerselva river as you can get, and right next door to Mathallen in the Vulkan district. We have a beautiful and functional foyer with a bar, the Main Stage for large events and the more intimate Studio Stage. All these rooms can be hired either individually or as a package. We are happy to help create artistic touches if you would like us to.
Our unique network of Norwegian dance artists will make your event a distinctive one.
Do you have something to celebrate, or would you like to hold a small meeting or a launch?
You can hire the foyer for a party or small event on evenings when there is no performance. We have DJ equipment, easy-to-use microphone system, and the bartender can mix your favourite drinks. You can order from outside caterers who can deliver to the door. Finger-food works best, as we have no kitchen facilities or tableware for you to use.

Catering: Drinks are purchased from Dansens Hus Bar. You are free to choose your own food supplier. You can also eat in Mathallen. No food on the stages.
In the vicinity: Parking for cars in the Vulkan parking garage. Scandic Vulkan hotels within walking distance. Good lunch offer and several shops in the area. Several smaller rental premises nearby if you need more rooms.
General: Loading from the ground floor. Several large and small changing rooms. Screens, stage and technical equipment in the foyer that can be used.
Staffing: At least one technician present - usually one for lighting and one for sound. One audience host, plus one audience host per 100 guests.
