Perhaps the heart is an idiot machine: 
repetitive, yet unpredictable 
in its simple honesty, 
a site for memory and metaphor 
to merge and crop up concrete. 

 Idiot Machine is a collaboration between choreographer and poet Janne-Camilla Lyster, the Pinquins percussion ensemble, scenographer and light designer Jakob Oredsson, and dramaturg Bojana Cvejić. Turn time into an act of making an instrument, transform space into a heart grooving with sounds, movement, and poetic glitch, and this performance will incorporate its audience into a choreographic concert. As a kaleidoscope, it circles and refracts, fills and empties out the encounters between idiosyncrasy and the systematic of a machine. Can you enter a heart, an idiot-machine?
