Dear guest.
The ballad of Bøler Samvirkelag is performed by us and an old horse. We travel in and out of day and night, up and down, flat and steep, eating apples and very old bread, we dance all kinds of dances about life and death, and we carry a woman in need. The ballad of Bøler Samvirkelag is a celebration of doing things together.
The dance collective Bøler Samvirkelag have invited choreographer Jonathan Burrows and composer Matteo Fargion into a collaboration. The starting point is Burrows and Fagions long standing work with dance as music. In this work the performers are both a band and a dance troupe. This collaboration, where dance and music are practiced as joint action, celebrates both individual agency and strong connectedness.
