Call for entries: Short films for Pix on Art

As part of this year's edition of Oslo Pix Film Festival at Dansens Hus, dance films are sought for the short film program on Tuesday 27 or Wednesday 28 August (final date will be announced).

Oslo Pix Film Festival and Dansens Hus will screen films that use dance in storytelling and/or in thematic: feature films, short films and documentaries in the Pix on Art section.

For the short film program, creators of (dance) films are encouraged to apply with films that are up to 30 minutes long. There are no restrictions in terms of genre, format or theme other than that the film must contain or thematize dance. The screenings take place on the main stage at Dansens Hus and with Dansens Hus technical equipment (information can be obtained by contacting jonas@dansenshus.com).

Application deadline is Sunday, April 21 at 23:59.



Application criterias:

- The film must be a maximum of 30 minutes long.
- You are responsible for all rights related to the screening of the film (use of music, etc.).
- Dansens Hus and Oslo Pix Film Festival cannot cover travel and accommodation expenses if you wish to attend the screening on August 27. or 28.

The application must contain:

-Contact information.
-A brief project description. The description should include a description of the film, partners, etc.
-Link or file showing the film in question.


A jury consisting of Johanne Svendsen Rognlien, Jenny Karlsen Lynne (Oslo Pix Film Festival) and Jonas Øren (Dansens Hus) will make a selection based on the submitted applications.
