30. January–2. February

Spilles: Thu 30. Jan Fri 31. Jan Sat 01. Feb Sun 02. Feb

Australia is burning. Rarely is a production more topical than When Monday Came.

The devastation of fire.
In the last few years, we have seen an enormous increase in forest fires all over the world, and the inferno now raging in Australia is unparalleled. The Amazon and Africa - the ‘lungs’ of the world - are also burning.
What do these all-consuming fires mean for us as humans? Is fire solely destructive, or can it also bring about change and thereby new opportunities?
Who or what is Monday? Just a day at the start of the week, or something representing the future - that which is awaiting us?

When Monday Came is part of ZVC’s ongoing trilogy, which revolves around global climate change.
