In a setting which conjures up the world of business, she creates vulnerable and nervous situations for herself, with the Bee Gees never far away…
Staying Alive has an unambiguous theme: reflections on order and control relating to migration. With subtle humour and absurdities, Jasna L Vonovrski from Croatia builds this solo performance into a kind of acute crisis situation. Throughout the process, her iPad plays a vital role as a personal tool which takes control of the performer’s body. The body experiences continually increasing levels of stress, or perhaps a permanent crisis situation.
The production is presented with the assistance of Aerowaves, a network for the promotion of new, European dance art. On the same evening, you can also take in the productions Lara by and with Mirjam Sögner from Austria, and Elvedon by Christos Papadopoulos from Greece.
Blant immigranter finner man markante intellektuelle, fantastiske kunstnere med overveldende talent og kraft.
