Every year, we hold the Choreography Laboratory in our spring season, giving audiences the chance to get to know young dance artists. From a total of 38 applications, 3 projects have been selected for the Choreography Laboratory 2025. These are Putli Hellesen with the solo Yellow, Anders Engebretsen with Exited Dancer and Emma Jansen & Jakob Stabell with the duet Slik ser jeg ut inni meg. The artists are provided with mentoring and production support throughout the spring, and rehearsals in May and June at Dansens Hus, before the actual performances in June. The mentor for this year’s Choreography Laboratory is Jessica Lauren Elizabeth Taylor. The jury responsible for selecting the projects was made up of Jessica Lauren Elizabeth Taylor, Amie Mbye and Carl Aquilizan.
