HOME MOVIE, 27. - 30. October

27. - 30. October

Home is where one start from.
T.S. Eliot

HOME MOVIE explores our emotional relationship with the concept of “home”, as a place of warmth, comfort and love. Home is a metaphor for identity, homeliness, conflicts and routines. A place where we feel welcome and where we can be ourselves. A place where we feel safe, and where the dishes can pile up. A utopian, emotional place that we remember with nostalgia.

The five dancers on the stage rediscover daily rituals and private memories by performing a kind of physical map which changes constantly in front of our eyes; the sense of everyday experiences through the course of a life. The audience is invited to explore the stage, which takes the form of several rooms within the stage. You can go in and out, and constantly find new routes and positions that create a feeling of proximity and provide constantly changing perspectives on the production.
