- Filigree. Rigorous. Precise. Subtle. Focused.

Can a festival be revived through a dance performance?
Armin Hokmi and his team flesh out this question with intelligence and elegance in the production Shiraz. It’s almost like watching a sunrise or sunset: over and over again, this captivating work reveals new subtleties for the observer, unfolding a choreographic canvas of tremendous poetic finesse – a choreographic gem.
Following a year of international performances that garnered universal praise from critics, professionals and audiences, Shiraz is returning home to Oslo for two evenings at Dansens Hus. To the mesmerising electro-beats of EHSXN and REZA R, Shiraz seduces the audience with its sensitivity – a piece that brings to the forefront the collective work of remembering and dancing together. A practice of love.

The solo piece Of the Heat - An Etude by Armin Hokmi will be performed at Kunstnernes Hus Saturday 23rd of August at 19.00. Read more HERE.
