In this workshop, we dive into the structural and compositional foundations of Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Inventione, the 2024 collaboration between Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Radouan Mriziga. We will explore the generative tools used from both Choreographers to build the movement language of this work, create our own choreographic compositions, dive into the rhythm and explore how movement can be created from geometrical patterns

Bio:
Ellada Damianou (GR), is a movement director and rehearsal director whose work spans contemporary dance and large-scale performance. Since graduating from P.A.R.T.S. in 2016, she has collaborated with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Radouan Mriziga, Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe,and many more as an assistant choreographer and rehearsal director. She specializes in "Physical Dramaturgy." Her practice investigates the body's dialogue with space and structural constraints, utilizing her dual expertise in choreography and costume design to shape performances that are as technically grounded as they are expressively bold.
