Dancing Between Systems
This workshop invites dancers from different backgrounds to explore how movement can meet ideas from outside the dance field — from technology and science to abstract systems of thought. Together we will look at how the body can sense, translate, and reshape the unfamiliar through choreographic exploration. Using guided improvisations inspired by Butoh imagery, micro-phenomenological reflection and collaborative creation of new movement vocabularies, we will alternate between dancing, talking, sensing, and thinking. No prior experience with science or technology is needed — curiosity and openness are enough.
