Bios:
Kai Johnsen is a director, dramaturge and former professor of directing at the Department of Theatre at KHiO. For several decades, he has collaborated closely with Ingun Bjørnsgaard on productions at a number of prominent venues in Norway and abroad. As an essayist, he played a central role in the book about Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt, Gjennom koreografi (Through Choreography). Johnsen is known, among other things, for his long-standing collaboration with Jon Fosse. As a dramaturge, Johnsen has collaborated with a number of prominent dance artists, including Brynjar Bandlien, Henriette Pedersen and Helle Siljeholm.
Torunn Liven was the editor of the anthology Gjennom koreografi, about Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt, published by Solum Bokvennen (2018). She has been involved in Ingun Bjørnsgaard's work and a number of productions since 2015, and she currently runs the Tom Sandberg Foundation. Liven is an art historian and has previously worked as a producer and communicator at Black Box Teater and the National Theatre, among others, and as a writer and critic for Kunstkritikk, Periskop, Dagsavisen, Norsk Shakespeare- og teatertidsskrift and others.
