Elvedon 10.–11. September 2016

Elvedon flows like an even stream, driven by precise rhythms and graceful, ever-changing movement patterns.

A fragile harmony is created on the stage by the six dancers through their vibrating presence and subtle micro-movements. The production is crafted to form a powerful, yet fluid image. In this production, Papadopoulos has been strongly inspired by Virginia Woolf’s poetic novel ‘The Waves’, and he tries to crystallise the complex story of a state of meditation over a period of time.

The production is presented with the assistance of Aerowaves, a network for the promotion of new, European dance art. On the same evening, you can also take in the productions Lara by and with Mirjam Sögner from Austria, and Staying Alive by and with Jasna L Vinovrski from Croatia.

- Til vår store skuffelse er livet veldig kort, og derfor er det så vanskelig for oss å oppfatte tidens uendelighet.
