This is the first presentation in the Glitterbird project for audiences from the ages of 0 to 3.
This production was originally presented in 2002 and 2003 with children in the studio, who observed the movements, music and rhythms with intense interest and pleasure.

The colourful costumes and newly composed music by Ole Henrik Moe Jr. aroused great enthusiasm among the children. We will not be surprised if this show is as fresh and energetic now, after five years, as the new audience members who will watch it.

Since its premiere in 2003, «TreMødre» has been presented by four different teams of dancers in nearly 180 performances with Dansdesign and Carte Blanche. It has been shown in Norway and France, and will travel to Düsseldorf this autumn. The choreography was awarded the Hedda Prize for the best production for children and young people in 2003.

When we created this performance as a co-production with (Lille) Black Box, shows for this age group were practically non-existent. Now, in 2008, after «Klangfugl» (supported by Arts Council Norway) and «Glitterbird» (supported by the EU) we have seen that there is a great demand for productions targeted at this group. Our experience with «TreMødre» has shown that there is an insatiable need for good artistic experiences for children aged 0 to 3, and that the systems responsible for organising and presenting such productions are becoming increasingly efficient.
