Dance and music are inextricably intertwined with one another.
Musician Mari Boine and dancer and choreographer Liv Hanne Haugen take a closer look at this interplay at the point where the concert and the dance performance intersect.

In this production the voice and the dance are explored side by side, together and individually. Focus is directed at how these idioms complement and enrich each other. It is also an encounter between two forms of stage art, a dance performance and a concert, as well as an encounter between two women from two different cultures in northern Norway. What movements and song can arise in the space between them? By applying some of the parameters of the rituals, such as stretching time, repetition and flow, the connection between everyday actions and rituals is examined.
