Grand Finale 24.–26. November

Hofesh Shechter returns to Dansens Hus with his latest work, Grand Finale, a spectacularly bold and ambitious new piece featuring 10 dancers.

Internationally-acclaimed artist Hofesh Shechter has single-handedly created a new genre: part dance, part gig, part theatre and wholly original, his work has its own instantly identifiable and entirely unique voice.
Following its thrilling world premiere at La Villette-Paris, Grand Finale begins an extensive international tour.
Performed by a ten-strong tribe of world-class dancers and accompanied by a live band, Grand Finale combines a cacophonic, pulsating score and richly theatrical set and costume design with the incredibly anarchic energy of Shechter’s choreography, and portrays a world in freefall.

- The mighty contemporary choreographer – a combination of dance-maker and rock-star, but with film-director sensibilities.
The Times

- One of the British dance scene’s hottest properties, the creator of works that are full of raw, visceral energy, set to blasting percussive scores that he composes himself.
New York Times

- The only dance-maker on earth even attempting shows this eye-poppingly packed with wit, energy and ambition.
